Very nice rice! Butterflies very well in a regular rice cooker, standard 1:2 ratio with water. With a bit more water it will butterfly a bit more. No pre-soaking required. We’re almost half done our bag – this is the only rice we make nowadays. We’ll definitely be ordering more once we run out…

THE BEST RICE, and one of the best foods, I have ever eaten! So rich, healthy, and delicious! I soak it for several hours, say 12 to 48 hours, and EAT IT RAW! It’s crunchy and chewy and divine! THANK YOU Naosap Harvest!

Bar None the best wild rice in the world. I soak mine for 24hrs. Then rinse and use a rice cooker. Comes out Perfect every time.

Delicious rice, when it’s cooking it makes the whole house smell amazing. I’ve tried other wild rice and this is more flavourful and aromatic. I use 1 cup to 4 cups in our rice cooker and the rice is tender and still has bite.

I have been buying Naosap Organic wild rice in the 50lb bag for 10 years now. The rice is amazing. It is not died black like some “fake” wild rice is. It is naturally brownish black and tasted absolutely delicious, and has a very nutty taste. It opens like a flower on one end when done, which is beautiful.
The one thing I would recommend when getting the 50lb bag is to separate it out into smaller air tight containers. Do not leave it in the 50lb bag. We left ours in the bag for over a year and something got into the bag and that thing rotted, which spoiled what was left of the rice. So, I’m back to buy another bag.
You can make your own wild rice flour by just putting one cup at a time in the blender.
The flour is great for home made protein bars, baby rice cereal, and cookies.
